Golfer's wife dies in SUV collision

While Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Lucas Glover were making headlines at the US Open, tragedy was stricking a fellow golfer.

According to a report in The News-Sentinel of Fort Wayne, Beth Smith, wife of PGA Tour veteran Chris Smith, was killed on Sunday when an SUV in which she was travelling collided with a Greyhound bus on the Interstate 69 near Angola.

The couple's two children, Abigail and Cameron, are reported to be in critical condition.

The bus was transporting a Canadian semi-pro football team and an Associated Press report said 12 others had suffered minor injuries in the accident.
